BossHours text messages

BossHours, LLC ("BossHours") runs two separate text programs. Program 1 is BossHours's own account texts to our subscribers (contractors). Program 2 is texts a contractor sends to their own customer about a job. Each has its own sign-up, its own words and its own STOP. Neither is advertising.

BossHours sends account text messages to contractors who have a BossHours account and agreed to them: sign-in notices, setup help, and billing or renewal notices. We do not send marketing texts, and we do not text anyone who has not ticked the box.

How you agree: on the BossHours sign-up form at getbosshours.com/trial, next to the optional mobile number field, there is a separate box that is never ticked for you. You can use BossHours without ticking it. This is the exact wording:

Sample messages:

• BossHours: a new sign-in to your account was just made. If it wasn't you, email support@getbosshours.com. Reply STOP to opt out.
• BossHours: Welcome! Finish setting up your booking page here: https://getbosshours.com/dashboard. Reply STOP to opt out.
• BossHours: your free trial ends in 2 days. Add a card at https://getbosshours.com/account to keep your jobs and customers. Reply STOP to opt out.

Reply when you opt in: “BossHours: You're subscribed to account texts (sign-in, setup help, billing notices). Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”

STOP reply: “BossHours: You are unsubscribed and will get no more account texts. Reply START to resubscribe.”

HELP reply: “BossHours account texts: sign-in, setup and billing notices. Help: support@getbosshours.com. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.”

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Text message opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.

This is a different program from Program 1. Contractors who use BossHours may text their own customers about a job the customer booked, from the contractor's business number. These texts are only about that job: a link to upload job photos, an arrival time, a question about the job address, and booking confirmations. They are never advertising, and a contractor cannot use BossHours to send marketing texts.

How the customer agrees: by ticking a separate, unticked box on the contractor's booking page (“Text me about this job: a photo upload link, arrival time, address questions and confirmations, from [business name]. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Not required to book. Links to SMS program details, Terms and Privacy Policy sit right beside the box.”), or by saying yes when our AI phone assistant asks aloud whether it may text them about the job (“May I text you about this job from [business name]? That is a link to upload photos, your arrival time, and address questions. Messages and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP anytime.”). Each agreement is saved with the exact wording shown, the date and time, and for phone bookings the call ID. No text is sent to a number without a saved agreement, and STOP ends it immediately.
