How to write a job-site safety reminder for customers
A short reminder before the visit keeps customers, children and pets safe and the job moving.
- Send it the day before. Include it with the arrival window message.
- Say what to keep clear. Name the work area, ladders, tools and any areas that will be noisy or dusty.
- Mention pets and children. Ask that they are kept away from the work area.
- Explain utilities. If power, water or gas will be off, say when and for how long.
- Give a contact number. Tell them who to call if something looks wrong.
