How to schedule a follow-up call after a repair

A call or message a few days after a repair shows you care and gives customers an easy way to raise issues.

  1. Pick the timing. Two to five days after the job works for most repairs.
  2. Use a short script. Ask if everything is working and if they have questions.
  3. Log the response. Note any issue as a callback right away.
  4. Offer a fix quickly. If there is a problem, schedule the return visit on the call.
  5. Ask for a review when happy. Only after the customer says things are good.
