How to run a weekly quote follow-up block

Most quotes are lost to silence, not to a no. A fixed weekly block fixes that.

  1. Pick a recurring time. Same day and hour each week, with the list open before you start.
  2. Sort open quotes by age and size. Start with the largest recent ones, then the oldest.
  3. Send a short, specific message. Mention the job, ask one easy question, and offer a next step.
  4. Log the result. Mark each quote won, lost, waiting or call back on a date.
  5. Close the loop. After a set time with no reply, send a polite last note and mark it closed.

Common questions

How often should I follow up on one quote?

A reasonable pattern is a few days after sending, a week later, then one last note. Adjust to your customers.

What should I write?

Keep it short and human, reference something specific from the visit, and make replying easy.
