How to prepare for an estimate site visit
Show up ready so you only need one visit to quote.
- Confirm the visit the day before. Repeat the time, address and who will be there.
- Review what the customer told you. Re-read the notes from the first call.
- Pack measuring and photo tools. Tape, ladder, flashlight, phone with a full battery.
- Take photos and measurements. Capture the work area, the access path and any nearby problems.
- Tell them when the quote will arrive. Give a day, then send it by that day.
